    Actual labor % in real time

    KennelOps has a feature that lets you put in your expected volume based on history and current reservations and the make your schedule accordingly. For this purpose all the wages are loaded with the appropriate tax burden, and any salaried employees are spread through every day. This way you are scheduling to a payroll percentage that is acceptable, because it is calculating the labor against what each dog’s stay represents for that day – not cash collected that day, and is showing you your labor spent in real time, you will know when to cut or call people in based on the volume of dogs at your facility each day.


    Future income report

    You will have a report that allows you to predicts future income based on reservations so you will be able to compare to last year, and know what your revenue should be by the end of the month.


    Reports revealing breakage

    KennelOps offers a report that will show you based on your parameters when a pet has broken it’s normal attendance cycle. This report gives you the last time they were there and then the previous 10 times (or whatever you want).     Auto email reminders

    Upon each reservation or cancellation a courtesy email is sent to your client. These emails are where you can put specials and promotions to communicate they great things that you have to offer them. These can be just ads or embedded movies of dogs having fun. Whatever you come up with can be added.


    Sends text to confirm stay

    After each boarding check in, a text can be sent to the client giving them a link to look at on their smart phone so that they can verify everything you have entered for their stay. This gives them the ability to call if something is not what they expected or simply do nothing if it looks correct to them. You will be able to know if they clicked on the link.


    Ads and offers Customer Portal

    The customer portal will quickly become the focal point for most of your clients. Because of all the things available to them there it will become the first place they go to interact with you. Remember, reservations, deposits, package purchases, verifying reservations, checking vaccine dates, seeing their past invoices are all available to them. Here is where ads and offers should be updated often, and always have a big statement to call anytime or drop by (we would love to see you!) so that personal connection is maintained.

    Operational Organization

    Custom check ins and outs

    Your check ins and check outs will be streamlined to match exactly how you want to do it in your operation. Right down to when you want to ask them for extra services and take the photos. However you want to operate, you can!


    Auto prints run card

    Upon Check in, run cards are automatically printed in any format you want to any printers you want them to come up on. Example, groom cards might go to a different printer than the daycare and boarding cards.


    Feeding info to iPads

    All the feeding information is placed under tasks and can be in any order you would like depending on how you feed your pets. Staff can view this on a tablet in the back and go through and check that dogs are fed and how much they ate if that needs to be tracked. Who checks off on any task is recorded in the system.


    Med info to iPads

    Medications can be handled the same as the feeding but can require a higher level of management to administer if needed.


    Permanent and Temp notes

    A robust note system will allow you to make permanent notes or temporary notes (removed at check out). These can be made from anywhere and assigned to show up in the proper place.


    Assigns suites

    Suites or yards can be assigned manually at check in, or the system based on the parameter you decide will auto assign for you.


    Notifies suite cleaning

    When pets check out of suites, or a play yard is ready, a task will show up for the staff that cleaning is needed. The front will also see that cleaning is needed so they will not assign a dog somewhere that is not ready.


    Services to iPads

    All of the extra services, baths, treats, extra and potty breaks are shown as a task that needs to be completed on the tablets so the back staff can keep track of who, what, and when they need to complete those items. Front staff can pull up a complete stay audit and see what is done and what is yet to be completed.


    Tracks who complete items

    Everything that is done in the system from beginning to end is recorded by the staff member who completed that item. You will know who check a dog in and out, and who did everything that happened to that pet during its stay.


    Tracks where every dog is

    The system gives you the ability to see where a dog is at any time. Are they at play, have they gone to get bath? Were they put back in their suite? etc.

    Labor Savings

    Auto Vaccine Input

    Vaccines are tracked and when verification is needed an email is sent to each vet with a portal where they can enter the dates right in the program. Think of the time you will save not having to spend hours making those calls. There is also a place to send back a note if there is a discrepancy or they no longer have the dog as a client. Banner ads can be embedded in these emails keeping your vet front desk staff aware of what is currently happening at your resort.


    Photos of Luggage

    A smart phone can be used to take photos of everything a dog brings with it for its stay. These photos fall off at check out. This saves time trying to located luggage and make sure it is clean and ready.


    Photos of Dogs

    A smart phone can take photos of the dog for it’s general picture for the run cards and also can take photos of the condition of a dog when it arrives and unique characteristics of dogs for identification so there is not mix up. (5 black labs all staying at the same time)
